1. Who we are
Novotly is the trade name of the business identified in our Legal notice. "We" means Novotly; "you" means the venue or business that requests a preview or a quote.
2. The preview
The preview is free and commits you to nothing. It stays our work until you pay for the finished site: please don't publish or copy it before then.
3. Quotes
Our standard price for a venue website is $790, paid once. Each quote states the price in US dollars, the pages, the number of revision rounds, the timeline, the content you provide and the cost of hosting and domain after the first year. A quote is valid for 30 days. You accept it by replying "approved" by email or by signing it.
4. Revisions
Your quote includes 2 rounds of revisions before launch. A round is one email listing the changes you want. For 2 months after launch, we also make small content changes for free (dates, photos, prices, wording). Other changes, and new pages or features, are quoted separately before we do them.
5. Approval and payment
- We ask for no deposit.
- When the site is finished, we put it online at a review address so you can check it on your own phone and computer.
- When you're happy with it, you approve it in writing (email is fine). We then send you a secure payment link for the full amount.
- Once payment is received, we connect your domain and the site goes live at your address.
- If you decide not to go ahead before approving the site, you owe nothing, and we take the site offline.
Taxes: our prices include no VAT. Any US sales or use tax that may apply on your side is your responsibility.
6. Your content
You provide, or approve, the information about your venue: spaces, capacities, packages, prices, rules and photos. You confirm that it is accurate and that you have the right to use it. When we use photos from your Facebook or Instagram page, we do so only with your permission, and you confirm that you may use them (photographers often keep rights over their pictures). We publish awards, listings or memberships only when you confirm them.
7. Ownership
Once the site is paid in full, it belongs to you: the design made for you, its text and its images within the limits of their licenses. You can move it to another host or another designer at any time. We may show your site in our portfolio only if you agree.
8. Hosting and domain
Your domain and hosting accounts are in your name. We cover their cost for the first year. After that, you pay the hosting and domain costs directly to the provider, at the amount stated in your quote. We tell you before the first renewal. There is no subscription with us.
9. What we don't promise
We build your site so search engines and AI assistants can read it clearly. Nobody controls Google rankings or what ChatGPT and other assistants say, so we promise no ranking, traffic, number of tour requests, bookings or mention by an AI assistant.
10. Liability
Our total liability for a project is limited to the amount you paid for it, except where the law doesn't allow such a limit.
11. Applicable law
These terms are governed by the law of the country where the business named in our Legal notice is registered. We'll always try to settle a disagreement by email first.
